What's up with The So Called No-Fly list?

Just wondering, if potential terrorists are on airplanes that get turned around from landing or need to have passengers arrested, perhaps we need something stronger than a "No-Fly" list operating to protect the integrity of our borders.

Maybe we aught have a "do-not-ticket" list? As in, if your name is on the list, you can't even get a ticket that might get you on board an airplane that need be turned around? Or perhaps an, let's-arrest-these-people list?

Slice:

Hamid Hayat, 22, and his father, Umer, 47, were arrested Sunday on charges of lying to the FBI, less than a week after the younger man was first detained aboard a San Francisco-bound plane when authorities discovered he was on a "no-fly" list of suspected extremists.

According to a seven-page FBI affidavit, Hamid Hayat "after failing a lie-detector test" admitted having spent six months in a Pakistani camp where he trained to "kill Americans," using the images of high-ranking U.S. officials, including President Bush, as target practice.

When asked where he wanted to carry out his attacks, he chose the United States, he said.

Never lie! to the FBI

Lying to a fed is itself a crime. You're not even permitted to dissemble; 'I don't recall,' or 'maybe I did, maybe I didn't, I'm fuzzy on that.' Dissembling is a crime, too. Never, never lie! Never dissemble!

If you're about to be interviewed by a fed, ask for a lawyer.
