"It is Worth it"

I am a bit mystified as to how an AP reporter can already be reporting on what W has said when he is not scheduled to speak until 8:00 PM Eastern. Also, blogs for bush has an excerpt of the text of the speech...so, either some folks in the know are privy to information before it is dolled out to the general public, or something else fishy is going on. Ah, you have got to love the propaganda war.

Anyway, if you don't want to listen or watch live, you can already read the review of it here:
"Like most Americans, I see the images of violence and bloodshed. Every picture is horrifying and the suffering is real," Bush said, according to excerpts released ahead of time by the White House. "It is worth it..."
Now correct me if I am wrong, but hasn't W also said that killing is wrong?
"The killing of a human being that cannot be justified no matter how vast the potential benefits"
Now of course, he is not referring to Iraq here, but isn't there some kind of moral dilemma embedded in these statements? Should I be outraged about the bloodthirsty nature of his commentary and hypocrisy?

He doesn't get it. The American people have spoken and he's turned his back on us. Reminds me of the three finger salute he gave just before he aired in Texas. I agree that if we can be successful in Iraq it will be worth it, but what exactly are we hoping to do? We can be out of there in 2 years with planning and a RUBRIC for the iraqi governemnt.

best wishes marie

Marie's right. He shows nothing but contempt for American citizens.
