Assasination Character

Over at Neil Shakespeare's location you can find some high quality art as blog material. Today, he's got an interesting piece featuring our good friend Mr. Rove. Abi comments below by siting some great words by MLK Jr. I had to follow, but my words are not nearly as elogquent. You will have to go here to see the pic.

Now of course one of the difficulties in speaking out today grows out of the fact that there are those who are seeking to equate dissent with disloyalty. It is a dark day in our nation when high level authorities will seek to use every method to silence dissent. Something has happened and people are not going to be silent, the truth must be told. Yes we must stand, and we must speak. There comes a time when silence is betrayal.

Here's my two cents:

Abi's on it. MLK made the point and got killed for it. Rove is up to the nasty task of assasination, but his MO is character assasination. It's easier to claim the moral high ground when it doesn't involve an actual murder.

But the blood runs deep and thick in the river let by the W, Rove and Co. Just ask the Pakistanis - our good friends worth killing.
