Believe his promises? Hell, I can't even understand what he's saying.
Thanks to Bush, I can now say I believe in "conspiracy theories".
I had always thought that Nixon as the Best Liar in Chief we ever had...I now know for sure without a doubt that I am wrong....
Actually Nixon WAS a better liar - simply because he was inifinitely better spoken. Bush opens his inarticulate, snuffling, smirking, tee hee-I-barely-finished-school-I'm-just-a-regular-guy - way, blinks his eyes rapidly when asked a question he doesn't want to answer - the way any savvy mom would instantly recognize her child is lying about breaking the antique vase if she has children - there is NOTHING to tell the American people he is in any way, shape or form - telling the truth. We've developed a culture however that believes that reality teeVee is real and not scripted - guests on Jerry Springer aren't really encouraged in the green room to be as outrageous as possible - Brittany Spears has breeding and class - and whatever you hear on the teevee MUST be true. And you wonder why billions were cut from Education spending? Gee. They like keeping the majority of us stupid and naive.
neil - HE doesn't even understand what he is saying
If Bush talks about health savings accounts in his State of the Union, they're DOA
Bush apparently will propose that people who have no health insurance, and no money to buy health insurance, be permitted to deduct whatever they spend in advance for health care. Bush appears to be manufacturing a benefit out of thin air.
