Oh, and simply becuase we were "providing a supporting role" in tearing apart a mosque do you think the Arab world is going to forgive us for it? Shit.

I loved the bit where the U.S. military spokesmen said although the Iraqis claim it was a mosque, it was clearly a community center. "I think it's just a matter of perception." So, the next time a gunman bursts into the First Lutheran Church in the middle of communion and starts blasting away...
