The Veep's Lessons For the Children of America- Fragging Your Friends: Priceless

Any one want to go hunting with the Big Dick? I hear he has a slot on his next trek. The big question then is, do you frag him before he frags you?

The longer the Veep stays away from a public forum on this subject, the more spurious the situation becomes. That is, the most troubling thing about this aside from the dangerous, life threatening situation he placed his hunting buddy (and political donor, for that matter) in, is that the W, Rove and Co.s response revolved around not on coming clean, but working very dilligently to try and manage the political fall out. And, I might add, they are doing a very poor job of it.

As of this point, the Veep's office has only two (one, two) public statements about the situation, none of which suggest he has one iota of remorse about the situation. Sounds a lot like the prima facie no-appologies policy the W, Rove and Co. has about any mistakes they make.

What is the lesson the Big Dick Cheney sends to our children based on his actions surrounding this incident?

I think what it shows children is that if you're a big shot (no pun intended, it's just there) and you do something that results in someone getting hurt you need not worry about it.

I remember when President Clinton's escapade was in the news, a lady called into c-span and asked how was she going to explain what he had done to her four year old kid. She was outraged and all that goes with blowing something (again no pun intended) totally out of proportion.

Another question
What is the lesson to kids when the president lies to people and a war is started and as a result the kid's dad is killed in that war?

Well Cheney's breaking the silence even as we speak, in an interview that will be broadcast this evening.

The message to the children is the same as it's always been in America: Anything is OK as long as you can get away with it.
