Lesson Numeral Uno: Don't Go Hunting With The Big Dick

Sounds like Cheney needs to give up his hunting license. Will they investigate the possible criminal charges? Well, most likely not.

Just a quick question: Which is worse; getting sprayed with shot, or being outed as a spy by Cheney?
Vice President Dick Cheney accidentally shot and injured a man during a weekend quail hunting trip in Texas, his spokeswoman said Sunday.

Shot in face, chest and neck with shot...hmm, not normal Quail Hunting injuries ( yup- those years of ER are paying off...) The Media still really has not said" how "he is.... ( condition??? )
I wonder what the Gunshot/Injury laws are in Texas...
in most states, a preliminary report and Investigation has to be initiated within 24 hours...

( usually rump and back injuries)

And it took the Media 24 hours to release the story - the WH did not release a statement- the local paper ran a story...but the WH as of 2pm today still no story.

Whittington- lawyer- Travis County...( things he has worked on Prison Reform and land Developement Deals...something smells a bit fishy....)

and yes, when I saw on the Ticker this afternoon " VP Cheney involved with Hunting Accident" I started to feel hopeful.....damn.

Same here. I had hoped he'd tripped over his own dick and offed himself. What a lousy piece of merde he is.

Why did I hear this on Drudge before I heard Scott McClellan tell us about it?

This Administration, bar NONE, hates the media and avoids it more than any I've ever seen in my life.

In the "old days", we'd have had the "Cosby Show" interrupted with breaking news over something like this...

Ooooh, I just bet the NRA is a bit pissed over this.

And can someone who hunts, explain to me how on earth it is that a shotgun needs to send out a "spray" of pellets in order to fell a bird about 8 inches long? Oh wait - was Dick using the wrong ammo as well? So, he missed, he used the wrong ammo . . . he sneezed. . . an experienced hunter disregarded all training and "snuck" up on him - whatEVER - don't actually believe that, but okie dokie.

Got to admit this particular story gave me much schadenfreude.

The biggest mistake here is assuming that Cheney is a competant marksman.

The reason why no press release for 24 hours or reports to the local cops? Cheney is above the law, just like Bush. Did you all forget that?

As for your question Windspike- which is worse? They both involve people taking pot-shots at someone, both are life-threatening, and both involve Cheney...but I'll take outing Plame as the worse. At least she didn't see it coming.
