Setting The Record Straight

Just wondering: How many presidential administrations have been in so much hot water that they needed a whole section of the whitehouse web page titled "setting the record straight?" I'm quite surprised they didn't label it "setting the record right" with a hat tip to what they think of themselves - as always being right. They must be in deep trouble if they need to justify their actions in this way.

Imagine a White House list of 200 items

I counted 12 items on the White House page. How long will this list get before they discontinue it?

Wouldn't it have been something if they'd labelled it, "Telling the truth". Of course that would have caused heads to explode, screams of terror, all manner of awful stuff.

It could also mean they are being attacked a lot and just want to answer their erstwhile critics.

Why don't they just cut the crap and call it the Propaganda page ?

( I still just call it the Kitty Litter....)

( Thank you for wandering over where I fear to vomit)

LOL, a page devoted to making excuses..! I can hardly wait for the one requesting contributions.

That record is too crooked to set straight. But I suppose they'll throw billions at that, too.
