Calling All Pots: You're Black. Signed, Your Friend, the Kettle

Okay, I challenge anyone to find a more blatent display of hypocrisy while blogging today:
"He's not the right judge for this case," DeLay's attorney, Dick DeGuerin, said after the ruling. "It's not personal; it's not about him. It's about the appearance of impropriety."
Excuse me? Impropriety? Holy Shit, these people must wish to be playing with their own stacked deck on a fixed table or they think they are not going to get a fair shake.

If that is not enough he wants a change a venue because there are just to many liberals in Austin.

Statements like Delay's make me wonder how he really perceives of people's opinions of him. Does he know, or care, how he sounds? Or is he right in thinking that the country is happily okay with his bizarre reverse-ethics?

It's Texas!

Judges are elected in Texas so it's easy to discover their political affiliation and make a claim of bias, that is, if money laundering is a 'political' crime and not just a crime.

Unless the Texas judiciary is totally corrupt, how much nicer it will be to have a Republican judge send DeLay to jail.
