Secret Meetings Required When You Are About To Draw Your Own Conclusions

I'm just wondering, where was Uncle Karl in all this (re: the FIE declassification)? I thought the other shoe that would drop could/would/should have involved Mr. Rove. But then again, Fitzy's got at least two shoes to drop in this case, now doesn't he?
One of those efforts -- the July 18 declassification of the major conclusions of the intelligence estimate -- was taking place in public; another, Fitzgerald argues, was happening in secret, with only Bush, Cheney, and Libby involved.
When one is fabricating conclusions to support war- and fear-mongering ambitions, no doubt, the double dark secret meetings were held...but spuriously missing was Rove (and Card for that matter) in this article. I wonder why? Is he being set up as a scape goat for all the ills of the GOP?

Very good question. That's been nagging at me too. Where is Rove in all this? Nobody makes a 'strategic' move without his approval. And Card, too. What's with that timely release? All very mysterious...

Oh, and thanks for your musical suggestion over at my place. It's true. CRS deserves some terrific sacrifice music. Satan was talking about getting John Williams...
