Dear Mr. President
Were you a lonely boy
Are you a lonely boy
Are you a lonely boy
How can you say
No child is left behind
We're not dumb and we're not blind
They're all sitting in your cells
While you pave the road to hell
Were you a lonely boy
Are you a lonely boy
Are you a lonely boy
How can you say
No child is left behind
We're not dumb and we're not blind
They're all sitting in your cells
While you pave the road to hell

Just because a song is anti-Bush doesn't make it good, this song is one of the worst songs I've heard in a while.
Scooter McGavin's 9th Green
Ah, Scooter my friend. I can tell you are a song critic of the highest calibre. But you will notice no where in the post that I suggest any rating of quality of the tune. I was simply pointing out the lyrics were of a patriotic nature and that they would resonate with the "people" rather than the rich elites that run this country. I would also suggest that the tune is more than just anti-bush, but carries a lot more meaning that the simplified analysis that you offer.
Oh, by the way, becuase you state the song is one of the worst you have ever heard doesn't make it a bad tune either.
Blog on Scooter my boy, blog on.
