Listening to Folk Songs and Beyond on 91.7. One of the talking heads had a qood question just moments ago. What happened to the living and breathing heroes? He claimed that, as it happens, many heroes of the day are fictionial. There is a tremendous dearth of real life, living and breathing heroic types.
If you were to name, or select a hero (or she-ro for those of the feminist PC ilk) that were alive today, who would it be and why?
