Admonishment

This may have pertained to whaling, and written over 100 years ago, but still rings true today.
From page 205 of my copy of Melville's Moby Dick:

For God's sake, be economical with your lamps and candles! not a gallon you burn, but at least one drop of a man's blood was spilled for it.

You have your lamp oil, your dog food, all the basic whale parts. And now you're trying to f* with my market? Shorty can work without his toes but he can't live without work.
