More Domestic Terrorists We Can't Predict

Another tragic day for America's schools. Lessons from Colombine didn't help the folks in Minnesota.

Slice:

Eight people were shot dead on Monday by a student who killed his grandparents and opened fire at a school on the Red Lake Indian Reservation in Minnesota before killing himself in the deadliest U.S. school shooting in six years, authorities said.

An impossible problem

Parents like school resource officers, cops in the schools. But where there are guards, attackers always arrive with sufficient force to overcome them. It's impossible to defend against attack. A lesson that applies to ''Homeland Security,'' a larger, more expensive and even more useless intervention.

Put a black-hat team on any ''secure'' system, the bad guys always ''win.''
