Vacation, Photoshoped

Oddly enough, I returned from our family venture and was just trying to weed through Emails, and delete collected and corrosive spam, when I found this photoshopped print pasted to a friend's message. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember the fishing shot as a press blurb from Kennebunkport long ago. The background, of course, we are deeply familiar with.

Two questions for readers:
1) Did you laugh when you saw the shot?
2) If not, what was your reaction?
Explain and discuss.

I got this photo at work today and didn't know rather to laugh or cry. My first response was laugh, then I felt guilty...

No. Anger. I think it is a tasteless photo. Using that backdrop to try to degrade Bush is not cool.

I laughed, not knee-slapping, more of a chuckle. The picture is mocking the president, not those who suffered through Katrina. It is a reminder of the type of leadership this nation is currently suffering from. Maybe that really ain't so funny.

Note to self: Do not overanalyze cheap digital artistry, accept at face value.

Oh Windspike you're making life complicated!

I do agree with nedhead; more so since I just heard Bush say he takes full responsiblity for any FED government failures. Should have taken responsibilty while this was all going on

And now he's coming in to New York just to make it difficult for me to get cross town. He didn't state that reason, but I know that it's true

I got the photo few days ago, didn't laugh at all but felt like nodding. Like nedhead said, the picture is mocking the president, not those who suffered through Katrina. About degrading the president.. I don't think there's no need to degrade Mr. Bush, he does perfect job all by himself.
