Thought for the Day
Day off? Bah Humbug. Is it me or does it seem like Labor Day is really no holiday for the stay-at-home parent? Note to self: negotiate for a real day off some time in the very near future.
People have lost sight of what this celebration is really, TRULY supposed to be about; the balance of power between corporate America, the politicians, and the worker-bees who man the trenches to make America such an economic, and Military power; the ONLY true "superpower" at this particular moment. Sadly, it is all slipping away, along with the reasons for this date of celebration. :-/
I feel your pain, my brother. How SAD it is we've lost sight, AND power. Gone is the middle class... and THAT is what today was supposed to be celebrating; the HEALTH of the middle class...
