Thought for the Day on the Koran

Here's an interesting idea that I recieved in an email from a friend with this link and these comments:

Literal-minded twitism at work. Like the values that the Koran represents are present in the physical Koran? The Koran is a metaphor. Like the flag, it stands for something but it isn't the thing it stands for.

I think their rule is, it's okay to burn a flag as long as you're not gay.
