You Can't Kill Me Because I'm Already Dead

Here's another flag to wave in front of the charging GOP bull when one of them suggests things are going swell in Iraq:
I can't go outside, I can't go to college. If I'm killed, it doesn't even matter because I'm dead right now.

What an absolutely hideous nightmare. Reminds me of the book I'm reading by Orhan Pamuk called
"Snow." It's a political novel set in modern Turkey - there's an oxymoron - I highly recommend it to you. Turkey has experienced just about every permutation of secular/religious/whatever you could think of. Turkey is farther down the Westernization path than Iraq, and it sitll doesn't look too good.
