I've Been Tagged as aThinking Blogger and Here's Five More For You

I hadn't heard from Moxie Grrrl in a long while. Low and behold, she pops in and tags me with this "thinking blog" award. It reminded me of the twist on Warhol's fifteen minutes for those of the blog-set - that we won't be famous for fifteen minutes, but to fifteen people.

I don't know if that's the case here at Educational Whisper. In fact, it's hard to know how many people actually do read my blog, even though I'm creeping upwards toward 70K page views (which translates to nearly 46K unique visits).

Even so, I'm game as I like this idea. Hopefully, it will link me with some others and find me some new reads as those who blog over here regularly know I've been on a mission to find a few more good blogs.

Here are the rules:
  1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think,
  2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme
  3. Optional: Proudly display the 'Thinking Blogger Award' with a link to the post that you wrote.
Here are the five I currently visit the most and cause me to think:

1 - Kvatch over at Blognonymous
2 - Pissed Off Patricia at the Morning Martini
3 - Neil Shakespeare over at his eponymous location
4 - The many folks at Bring it On
5 - And, although it's not a blog, I do have to give a nod to the Whitehouse web page as it is a must read for me. It makes me think and is endless in its supply of hypocrisy, rhetorical shenanigans, and down right blog worthy subjects. My rule of thumb is thus: If your stuck for something to write about, pop on over to the Whitehouse location and you will be continuously surprised at the relentless rate of political ass-hattery to rant about.

Blog on friends, blog on all.

Thank you for the tag. I don't do the meme things but I appreciate your friendship and for thinking of me. Someone tagged Fred the Cat too. :)

Windspike... Thanks so much for the tag. I'm honored.

But I do think that I'll have to forgo continuing the meme as Blognonymous has been tagged before, and I've already listed quite a number of "Thinking" blogs.
