I must apologize for leaving with no notice for a weekend getaway to Yosemite NP. Enjoyed some time taking in the sights such as this pic.

Gawgous!!! Our son has climbed in Yosemite. We've never been there. Did you hike, run, both? Our kid said the traffic can get horrific. How did it go for you?

You must go! The venture to Yos. NP was mainly a car based tour - the inlaws are not much for walking too far into nature. I was going to do a four hour hike/run, up and over Glacier Point, but that got the big veto - too much time away from the bunch. But, now that I have that jaunt in my head, I will do it one day. Have to go back. Yosemite is one of those places, not unlike Joshua Tree, where you can go back year after year and still find something new to discover.
