Victoria.So, judging by what we know happened in the past with Rummy, we all aught to be assuming the W, Rove and Co is fully lying about the situation with the AG or does the President really have his head that far up Rove's....oh, you get the drift...such that he can't tell what's really happening with the Dept. of Justice?
Q How can we have confidence in the President's 100 percent support for Secretary Gonzales, the Attorney General, when he also had support for Mr. Rumsfeld, 100 percent, right up to the time that he was fired or resigned?
MS. PERINO: What I can tell you is I spoke to the President this morning and he has -- the Attorney General has the President's full confidence.
P.S. Where's Rummy, anyway? ...Can any one confirm that Rummy is still getting paid and holds down an office in the Pentagon to this day? Last I heard, we was still getting paid in US Taxpayer dollars. Inquiring minds want to know...

The troops already in Iraq have been extended to 16 months boots-on-the-ground for the 'surge,' but in all probability all troops going to Iraq for the foreseeable future are going to be extended to 16 months.
If the mother-fathers want for credibility they could get it by leading from the front. The President, VP, Cabinet and the Congress can go to the Green Zone. Come home when the job is done.
