In the relative likelihood that you were not in New London Connecticut yesterday, you would not have witnessed Dick "Buckshot" Cheney addressing the graduating class of the US Coast Guard Academy. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't all good patriots remove their hats when saying the pledge of allegiance? I don't have any proof that indeed the pledge was being said when this picture was snapped by some one or another of the Whitehouse press staff, but it sure looks like it.
Why the big Dick, Veep though he is, decided to wear the ten gallon hat in Connecticut while delivering a commencement address is beyond me. Any one there able to confirm this?
