"Prayer is the answer to every problem in life," said Twyman, founder of the Pray at the Pump movement, whose members huddle around gas pumps and ask the Almighty to lower gasoline prices. What? Is the whole Country smoking crack now? Don't we have something better to pray for than the cost of gas at the pump?
"If the whole country keeps on praying, we can bring down prices even more, to even less than $2," Twyman said.
If prayer worked, might we not pray for no more war? No more killing? No more terrorism? No more Russians in Georgia? Another gold medal for Michael Phelps? Come on, people. This is a clear sign that for some, their priorities are in the wrong place.
Why would we bother God with such trivial matters? Praying for lower prices at the pump amounts to really selfish SOBs, no?

Crazy, absolutely crazy!!! I'm going to start praying at the ATM (after I enter my PIN).
Light a candle
That will work.
yeah these are the same people praying for rain at the Denver convention...yeah...
BTW PT CRUISER is back...come get details at Watergate summer...
Are they thinking about God, or Santa Claus? Oh, wait! It's the Octane Fairy.
I think there was a typo here. See, Christian Fundamentalists and Televangelists and Catholic priests have all discovered that preying works - they prey on their unsuspecting victims all the time to get what they want. And it seems to work for them...
