The Bush administration spent at least $1.6 billion on public relations and advertising campaigns over 30 months, according to a report released Monday by the Government Accountability Office, the investigative arm of Congress.Perhaps a more important question would be to assess whether this was a responsible use of taxpayer dollars. Any thoughts?

Big Government; Little Government - Which is it?
The repugs in charge say that they are all for smaller government, but I'm confused by their actions. Does this dollar figure looks like big or little government to you?
Sorry no opinion of this particular expenditure. I'm too glassed over by the figure: $2.7T...that's TRILLION...with a capital TRILL. A 2.7 with 11 zeros behind it...2,700,000,000,000!!!
ReplyDeleteAuuugggghhhh!
Geee, Kvatch, I don't know. Is that big or little government number? It's hard to tell with all the spin coming out of the W, Rove and Co.
ReplyDeleteBoy, imagine what a low opinion of them we might have if it wasn't for all that PR!
ReplyDeleteI agree with sheamc.
